Obituary of Peter Tredwell Laue

Peter Tredwell Laue Sailor, Businessman, Councilman Peter Tredwell Laue, of Mt. Arlington, NJ, passed away after a short illness on Monday, February 3, 2014. He was 61 years old. Peter was born in Queens, NY and lived most of his life in Denville and Mt. Arlington. He was a general contractor and owned Spar Construction in Mt. Arlington. Mr. Laue was a Council Member of Mt. Arlington from 1993-1997. He is remembered most for his love of sailing and the sea, fishing, being a devoted brother & son and his love for his boys. Surviving are his loving sons Ryan and Daniel, of whom he was very proud; a devoted father Peter Laue, who shared his passion for the sea; and sisters Magen Schmidt, Melissa Helmick and Amanda Cali. A Memorial Service will be held at the Denville Community (Methodist) Church, 190 Diamond Spring Road, Denville, NJ on February 15th at 10:00am.
