Obituary of Michael Richard Patierno

Please share a memory of Michael to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Michael “Mike” Richard Patierno, a dedicated father, loving husband, and esteemed builder, passed peacefully surrounded by the ones who loved him the most on June 6, 2024, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. He was 59 years old.

Born in February 1965, in Passaic, New Jersey, Mike spent over 35 years of his life building not just structures, but a legacy of hard work, dedication, and integrity. His craftsmanship can be seen throughout his hometown of Montville, New Jersey, where his attention to detail and commitment to excellence left an indelible mark.

Michael was a lifelong resident of Montville. He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Patierno; three children he adored - daughter, Allison Patierno; daughter and son-in-law, Megan (Patierno) and Christopher Weiss; and son, Christian Patierno; his precious granddaughter, Hayden; plus two dogs and four grand pups he loved as family. Mike is also remembered fondly by numerous friends, colleagues, and extended family members who were touched by his one-of-a-kind personality and generosity.

In keeping with his wishes, services will be an intimate celebration of his life, shared with close friends and family. This gathering will be a time to remember the many joyful moments, laughter, and love that Mike brought into the lives of those around him.

Though he may no longer be with us, the foundations he built - both in his work and in the lives of those he loved - will stand strong for generations to come.
