Obituary of Paul Gerald Nevadomski, Sr.
Paul Gerald Nevadomski, Sr., 76, of Boonton, NJ, passed away at home on Sunday, January 14, 2024.
Paul was born in Brooklyn, NY to Julius and Stella (Adamowicz) Nevadomski in July 1947. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Paul earned an associate degree and was a computer programmer for 50 years, retiring in 2014 from Electronic Data Systems in Mahwah, NJ.
He served on the Board of Commissioners of the Boonton Housing Authority from 2016 - 2019, where he was lauded for his selfless service and valuable contributions to public housing. Paul also served as an Alderman from Ward 2 for nearly 20 years, from 1993 to 2012.
In his spare time, Paul enjoyed fishing and watching his grandchildren play sports. He loved baseball and watching the NY Yankees.
Predeceased by his beloved wife, Linda (Gilhooly); his parents and his brother, Jay; Paul is survived by his loving children, Paul G. Nevadomski, Jr. and his wife Jennifer; and Sara Elizabeth Nevadomski; his adored grandchildren, Juliana, Louis, Anthony, Joseph, and Paul; his devoted sister, Marion Parker; and many friends.
