Obituary of Steven Jerry Modzelewski

Steven Jerry Modzelewski, 29, of Kinnelon, NJ passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

 

Born in Passaic to Jaroslaw and Lucyna (Bednarz) Modzelewski in January 1994, Steven grew up in Kinnelon and graduated from Kinnelon High School. He received his associate degree from County College of Morris and worked in NYC as a jeweler at the family business.

 

Steven loved his motorcycle and enjoyed fast cars, fishing, and paintballing. He also liked to spend time with his family and was a proud uncle to his nephew and godson, Lucas.

 

Visitation will be Friday, December 8th from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Codey & Mackey Funeral Home in Boonton. Mass will be celebrated in Saints Cyril and Methodius Church of Boonton on Saturday, December 9th at 10:00am, with interment at Saints Cyril and Methodius Cemetery to follow.

 

Steven is survived by his parents; his sister, Jessica; his nephew, Lucas; and many friends and relatives.
