Obituary of Gary A. Henzel

MONTVILLE, NJ Gary A. Henzel of Montville died on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the Baptist Hospital in Miami, Florida. He was 64 years old. Mr. Henzel was a Seton Hall graduate and a Physical Education teacher and coach for 37 years for the Union City Board of Education. He retired in 2007. He was a volunteer basketball coach for the recreation department in Montville Township. He was the beloved husband of 21 Years to Susie (Cruz) Henzel and the loving father of Matthew A. Henzel. Dear son of Charles and Rosanna (Adams) Henzel of Brick, Brother of Charles Henzel of Glen Rock and Lorraine Monteforte of Brick. He was the cherished nephew of Joan Adams of Brick and loving uncle to many nieces & nephews. Friends may visit on Sunday from 2 - 5 PM at Mackey Funeral Home (mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 24 Changebridge Road, Montville, NJ 07045. The interment will be private.
