Obituary of Linda Mae Sikorski
Linda Mae Sikorski of Boonton Township, NJ passed away peacefully at Overlook Hospital July 12, 2022, at the age of 66. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband, Stan Sikorski, married for 45 years; her sons, Michael and Steven Sikorski; their wives, Dr. Rebecca Lewis and Mary Kagan; and her adored grandchildren, Cassandra and Alistair Sikorski.
Linda was raised in Saddle Brook, NJ, where she attended Saddle Brook High School. She was predeceased by her parents, Bernard and Dorothy Novack, and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Casimir and Mary Patricia Sikorski. Linda is survived by her sisters and brother, Holly Chaffee, Diana Bennett, and Pastor Thomas Novack and their spouses. She leaves behind many wonderful nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Linda and Stan met at work in Elmwood Park, NJ in 1976. They quickly fell in love and married that same year. They moved to Jefferson Township, NJ to raise their family. There are many fond memories of vacations in Wildwood Crest, youth sports, barbeques, and pool parties.
Linda had a very outgoing and caring personality and was quickly liked by all that she met. She was truly unforgettable. Linda lived for the love she shared with her family. She had a special relationship with her two grandchildren whom they called “Babci” (Polish for grandma.) Family get-togethers were truly amazing, where she was quite often the focal point of all activities, games, and fun. She also loved her unique home in Boonton Twp, where she enjoyed interior decorating and outside gardening in her courtyard filled with flowers, fountains, and a fishpond.
Linda was a successful realtor in Northern NJ at Weichert Realtors. She was trusted and respected by the numerous sellers and buyers she passionately supported over the years.
Her other passion was Jazzercise, to which she was truly dedicated, and where she built great friendships.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Saturday, August 6th from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, Boonton, with the Funeral Service following at 12:00pm. Inurnment will be private.
