Obituary of Alice Ann Anglum

Alice Ann Anglum (nee Makovsky), 97, of Mountain Lakes, NJ died on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at The Oaks at Denville.

 

Born in Boonton, Alice was a resident of Mountain Lakes for 55 years. A graduate of Duke University, she studied physical therapy at Columbia University and practiced privately for over 40 years. Alice was an avid downhill skier and an active volunteer; especially close to her heart was her role as physical therapist for the Mountain Lakes High School football team, and as a stalwart member of the St. Clare’s Harvest Festival crew. With her husband Cliff, she was among the founding parishioners of St. Catherine of Siena Church.

 

Survivors include two daughters, Sharon E. Anglum of Mountain Lakes and Ann Gail Anglum of Evanston, IL.; two sons, Peter K. Anglum of Mountain Lakes and Timothy J. Anglum of Manchester, VT. She was grandmother to twelve, and great-grandmother to ten.

 

Under the direction of Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, a liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am on Saturday, April 30th at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Mountain Lakes followed by the interment in Greenwood Cemetery in Boonton. A memorial celebration will be planned for later in the summer.
