Obituary of Catherine Ann Mahoney
Catherine Ann (Proctor) Mahoney passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Denville, NJ. She was 82 years old.
Catherine was born in Orange, NJ to William and Dorothy (Foley) Proctor, Jr. She was raised in Livingston and lived in Boonton for many years.
Catherine is survived by her loving brother, William Proctor, III and his wife, Linda; her children, James and Mary Mahoney; and her nieces, Karen Nicolosi (Brent), Kathleen Lindsay (Mike), Kelly Lapp (Chris) and Jill Janosz (Kevin). She also had several great-nieces and nephews. Catherine was predeceased by her dear sister, Dorothy Simms. She will be missed by her friends from Boonton.
Visitation will be at Codey & Mackey Funeral Home in Boonton on Sunday, February 27th from 1:00 to 4:00pm. The Prayer Service is Monday, February 28th at 10:30am at the funeral home, followed by the Burial at 11:30am at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover.
