Obituary of Elizabeth A. Rhoads
Elizabeth A. Rhoads,"Liz", 62, of Lake Hiawatha, NJ, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020.
Born in Paterson, NJ to Henry and Veronica Prior, Liz was one of five children in the family raised in Clifton, NJ. Liz graduated from Clifton High School and continued her education whenever she could, including court stenography, massage therapy, and real estate appraising.
Liz retired from customer service at the Gamsing Global Company in Parsippany, NJ.
She was an easy-going soul, the family said she would live carefree like the limbs of a willow tree swaying in the wind. Liz will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her on this earth.
Surviving are her beloved husband, "Dusty", devoted son, Jon, dear brother, John Prior and his wife Hope, loving sisters, Veronica Berry and her late husband Don, and Lorraine Saravia and her husband Hugo. Liz is also survived by countless nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her eldest sister, Mary Ellen "Nicki" Albano.
Services for family and close friends will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm.
