Ella Concetta Pengitore
Beloved Mother and Grandmother
Ella (Dolly) Concetta Pengitore, of Boonton, NJ, formerly of Whiting and Parsippany, NJ, peacefully passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019. She lived for 94 years.
Born in Orange, NJ to Anthony and Concetta (Petrillo) Gengaro, Ella was the oldest of four children.
Ella was married to the love of her life for seventy-one years, Robert Pengitore, and together they raised their family in Parsippany.
Ella cherished her family and extended family and always offered a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Ella was a wonderful cook and always made our holidays special.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert in 2017, a brother, Vincent Gengaro and a sister Rose Mullen.
Ella is survived by her devoted children, Roberta (Kevin) Sheridan and Richard (Andrea) Pengitore; loving brother, Anthony Gengaro; and cherished grandchildren, Conlin (Anna), Taylor (Julianne) and Kiley Sheridan, Jake, Brody and Corey Pengitore, and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church, 312 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 11:00 am. Inurnment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Garden Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ. The family has entrusted the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home of Boonton, NJ with the arrangements.
