Obituary of Nancy P. Fedewitz
Nancy P. Fedewitz, of Victoria Mews in Boonton Township, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. She was 91 years old.
Born in Port of Spain, Trinidad to Charles and Ruth Price, Nancy graduated from West Orange High School in 1945. She and her husband, the late Anthony Fedewitz, raised their family in Cedar Grove, NJ and later moved to Montville, NJ. Shortly after Anthony’s passing in 2001, Nancy moved to Rockaway, NJ, and in 2016 she moved to Victoria Mews.
Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Surviving are her devoted children and their spouses, Cathy and Kevin Mahoney, and James and Joy Fedewitz; loving grandchildren, Brian and his wife, Amy; Christine and Ellyn Mahoney, Ryan and Laura Fedewitz; and great-granddaughter, Mia.
Nancy was a voracious reader and loved traveling around the world with her husband and friends. She also was an active member of the Community Church of Cedar Grove, NJ for many years, and volunteered her time to help others in need.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 16th from 10 am until the time of the service at 12:00 pm at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005.
