Sarah L. Lewin (nee Allison), 77, of Boonton, NJ, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014.
Sarah was born in Jamaica to her parents Wilfred Allison and Ethlyn Miller. She came to America in 1977 where she lived in Boonton. She was a machine operator for several years at Mennen/Colgate Companies in Morristown, NJ.
Surviving are her husband, Cebert; devoted children, Patsy Ranger, Pamela Steer, Oscar "Carey" Black, Sr., Donovan Black, Sr., Ian Lewin, Donna Hewitt and Paula Scarlett; also 22 cherished grandchildren and 4 adored great grandchildren; many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, daughters-in-law and sons-in-law.
Family and friends will visit at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 4 Church Road, Boonton Township, NJ on Friday, October 10th from 6 - 9 pm. A Funeral Service celebrating Sarah's Life will be held on Saturday, October 11th at 10:00 am in the Mount Zion Baptist Church. The interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Boonton.
