Obituary of Reverend Paul Babich

Reverend Paul Babich Pastor Reverend Paul Babich, 89, of Boonton, NJ, went home to be with his Lord and Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 10, 2014. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visiting at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005 on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A Service will be held at the Montville Reformed Church, 9 Church Lane, Montville, NJ 07045 on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 11:00 am. Paul was born and raised in East Brunswick, NJ and lived in NY prior to moving to Boonton in 1964. He graduated from Nyack College with a Bachelor of Theology and from New Brunswick Theological Seminary with a Masters in Divinity. Rev. Babich's ministry began in NY at the First & Second Reformed Churches of Coxsackie and The Federated Church of Kerhonkson. He then continued to the Reformed Church of Boonton where he was the Pastor from 1964 - 1990. After his retirement he continued as the Stated supply Pastor at the Fairfield Reformed Church, NJ. He was predeceased by his son, Mark Andrew and a sister Mary Leonovich. Surviving are his beloved wife, of 62 years, Ellen (nee Osepchuk); a devoted son, Dr. Ronald Paul; a dear brother, Jacob; loving grandchildren, Nikolas, David, Viktor and Ivan; also several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Montville Reformed Church or the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association would be appreciated.
