Obituary of John D. Boyd

John D. Boyd, Jr., of Dover, NJ, formerly of Mountain Lakes, NJ, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 14, 2014. He was 80 years old. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 215 Boulevard, Mountain Lakes on Wednesday, February 19th at 11 am. Jack was born in Brooklyn and raised in Nyack, New York. He lived in Mountain Lakes before moving to Dover 18 years ago. His passion for biking, football and a swim in the ocean was known far and wide. Mr. Boyd was a veteran of the US Air Force and proud graduate of Colgate University. Early in his career he worked in the import trade business for several companies including Lubric Pneumatic Import Co. Most recently he worked for ADP in Roseland, NJ as a courier. He is survived by his devoted children, and their spouses, Andrew and Audra Kreger of Alexandria, Sarah Boyd and Adam Pileski of Brooklyn, NY; 2 loving sisters, Eileen Battles and Ann Seidel; also 3 cherished granddaughters, Eden, Louisa and Emerson; and his extended family, Friends of Bill W.
