Lillian Frances "Fran" Gibian, 90, a lifelong resident of Boonton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Merry Heart Nursing Home in Boonton Twp. Fran was born in Morristown, NJ to her loving parents Clifford & Lillian Smith. Over the years she worked at Mountain Lakes High School cafeteria, as a bank teller in Boonton and for Dr. Sue Sinclair, D.D.S. , of Denville. In addition to raising a family in Boonton she was very active in her hometown as a member of the Boontonites, the Friendship Club, the Elks Club and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Boonton Fire Department, since 1947. Lillian loved to crochet and would gift her creations to family and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband John W. Gibian, Sr. in 1991 and her son John "Jack" W. Gibian, Jr. in 2005. Surviving are her son Clifford Charles Gibian, and his wife, Janet, of Media, PA; daughter Gail S. Kullberg, and her husband Eric, of Boonton; grandchildren Todd and Ryan Gibian and Megan Moore; also 7 great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton on Sunday, August 11 from 2 - 5 PM. A service will follow visitation at 5:00PM.
