Marion Behnke (nee Cosgrove), of Elmore, AL, formerly of Rockaway Twp., NJ, passed away at home on Friday, March 29, 2013. She was 89 years old.
Marion was born in Paterson, NJ where she met Henry "Hank" Behnke 74 years ago. She lovingly raised their family of 5 daughters in Rockaway Twp, NJ after retiring they moved to Deerfield Beach, FL and then to Elmore, AL .
She is survived by: her beloved husband of 66 years, Hank, devoted daughters and their husbands, Elaine & James O'Brien, Marilyn & James Hubbard, Pamela & Frank Luciano, Kelly & Daniel Finn, Paula & William Hanright. Her legacy includes 21 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is now at peace with her baby son, sisters Ruth Petrichko and Dorothy Sifferlen, brother Frank Cosgrove, and their loving parents.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Angels, R.C. Church, 485 Main St., Little Falls, NJ on Wed., April 3 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends may call one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of the Holy Angels Church in Little Falls, NJ.
