Megan Christine Mohrbutter Anderson, with the support of her loving family and friends, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock, NJ she was 26 years old. Visitation at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ on Sunday, Feb 17 from 2-6 PM. A funeral service will be held at the Jacksonville Chapel, 264 Jacksonville Rd., Lincoln Park, NJ on Monday, Feb. 18 at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover. Megan was born and raised in Bloomfield, NJ. She then lived in Montville, NJ and Florham Park, NJ before moving to Pompton Plains, NJ last year. She was a graduate of Caldwell College in 2009 with a bachelors degree in communication arts. Megan worked for the NY Jets as a game day staffer, the job of her dreams. She was predeceased by her husband Nicholas M. Anderson and her grandmother Shirley VanLeer. Surviving are her mother Rita Conklin, with husband Richard, of Montville, NJ; father Curtis Mohrbutter, with wife Barbara; maternal grandfather Jan VanLeer; paternal grandparents Theodore and Patricia Mohrbutter; a sister Brittany; brothers Branndon, Clark and Mack Mohrbutter; stepbrothers Rick, Brain, Alex and Thomas Conklin; aunts Theresa Andren, Shirley Rossi, Rebecca Rater and Deborah Perez; Uncle Karl VanLeer; also many cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers donations to the Spina Bifida Assoc., 88 Park Ave., Suite G106, Flemington, NJ 08822.
