Obituary of William H. Gordon

MINE HILL---William H. "Bill" Gordon died Friday, December 14, 2012 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover following a long illness. He was 60. Born in Morristown, he was raised in Boonton, graduating from Boonton High School in 1970, and had lived in Mine Hill for the past 30 years. He also maintained a residence in Roscoe, NY. Bill was the vice-president of Components Corp., Denville where he had been employed for 40 years. He had not retired. An avid fly fisherman, Bill had taken annual trips to Wyoming and Montana since 1988. He is survived by his sister, Ann Gordon of Mine Hill and also many cherished friends and associates. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 18th at 10:00 A.M. at the Mackey Funeral Home ( www.mackeyfh.com), 107 Essex Ave., Boonton with interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Boonton. Friends may call Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Bill's name may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 400 Blackwell St., Dover, NJ 07801. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
