Obituary of Sonia Partizian

SOUTH PALM BEACH, FL---Sonia (Alexanian) Partizian died Monday, February 6, 2012 at the JFK Medical Center, Atlantis, Florida following a brief illness. She was 91. Born in Adapazar, Turkey, she came to this country in 1949. She lived in Boonton for many years before moving to Florida in 1987. Mrs. Partizian worked as a bookkeeper for several years at the State Bank of North Jersey in Boonton. She then became the store supervisor at Gotthelf's Knitting Mills, also Boonton for a number of years before retiring in 1979. She was also a homemaker and good mother. Her husband, Haic, died in 1985. She is survived by three sons, Aram of Atlanta, GA, Lauris of Randolph and Ronald of Chatham. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11th at 11:00 A.M. at the Chatham United Methodist Church, 460 Main St., Chatham with interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Boonton.
