Fern H. Allen died on Tuesday, February 1, 2012 at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover following a short illness. She was 90. Born in St. Louis, MO she lived in Chicago, Ill. before moving to Boonton in 1976. She was a homemaker.
Her husband Clarence H. Allen died in 2011.
Survivors include her three children; Nella L. Daniels of Boonton, Daryl C. Allen of Bellefonte, PA and Shirley Jean Allen of Whippany.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 2:00 pm until service time at Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Ave., Boonton. The funeral service will begin at 3:30 PM. Interment will be private. Contributions in Fern's memory may be made to the Boonton United Methodist Church, 626 Lathrop Ave., Boonton, NJ 07005. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home
