Please accept my sympathies. A Scripture that has always strengthened during tough times is at 1 Corinthians 15:26, where God promises us that soon “the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.”

My deepest sympathy to the entire family for your loss. As the days continue to pass, may our loving Father give the entire family sustenance and strength you need to continue cope with the loss of your loved one. May you find comfort in your precious memories and love shared. May the words of 1 Peter 5:7 “ while you throw all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you” bring the entire family comfort and strength. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Cousin Steve was always full of energy. My mother was a Bolcar and he was available when we would go to see him. He has experienced a lot in this world and to live that long is something special. As a man who loved God and the Bible, when we read the hope and promises in the Bible about a resurrection from the grave of those who have died, we can look forward to that day when we meet Cousin Steve again along with all our family. ( John 5:28; Acts 24:15; ). And the hope for the future for everyone listening to Gods direction is found in Revelation 21:3,4. And when the scrolls are opened, death and the grave will give up those who have died and they will be judged according to their deeds. (Revelation 20:12,13). So we will do our best to wait until that time comes and all those who love God and follow his direction, have the opportunity to meet our loved ones again.

Steven was my friend for over 40 years. I first met him as his nurse at Riverside Hospital. He never forgot and always called me his nurse. We spent quite a bit of time together recently at St Francis Rest Home. I will miss his company and his amazing stories. Rest in peace friend. Love you

So sorry to learn about your loss of your dear one. May you know that God purposes to do away with sickness and death, and restore the life of our deceased loved one back to the earth in the near future. Please read these verses in your Bible. (Isaiah 33:24; 25:8; John 5:28,29). During that time there will be an abundance of peace because Jesus will be ruling as King over our earth. (Psalms 37:10,11; Revelation 21:4,5). May these promises bring you comfort and peace.

This man was.....is.... An amazing man. I work the door/bouncer at Johnnies Tavern in Boonton for the past 10 years on Thursday. This man was amazing. He would come in, be one of the friendliest individual, great conversationalist with the ladies, and an exceptional pool player. The man had energy that could keep him on the pool table past midnight (not that it happened often and not was he there overly often)
The point is he was a pleasure. He was an inspiration to me. He had seen things I will never see. Done things I may never do. He fought for ideals that I have only debated about. He seen this world turn for over 100 years.
He was a local legend and and a national treasure. When people talk about the 1% in wealth they mean it in money. This man, I believe, was part of the 1% of wealth in life because he lived it Fuller than anyone else I know.
I may not have known him extremely well, but let that be a testement to the person he was. Because I felt impacted by Steve Bolcar.
My he rest in peace and I hope he is greeted into the hereafter with the warmest of welcomes.
I am sorry for your family lost and I am sorry for our national loss as well.
I hope these words are a small comfort
