Obituary of Daniel E. Elkerson
Daniel E. Elkerson, 44, of Boonton, NJ, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018.
Born in Denville, NJ to James and Frances Elkerson, Daniel was a lifelong resident of Boonton.
Daniel graduated from Boonton High School where he was an outstanding athlete. He excelled as #33 on the Basketball Team and scored over 1000 points. His love of basketball was passed to children when he coached in New Hampshire.
He worked alongside his father in the family business, Elkerson Trucking of Boonton. He loved his father and was able to care for him in North Carolina before his passing last year.
Surviving are his beloved mother, Frances (Judkins) Elkerson; loving daughters, Haley Wilder and Essence Elkerson; dear sisters, Margaret Judkins, Denise Elkerson and Selena Stone; and brother James Tillage.
