Obituary of Audrey Fay Conklin

Audrey Fay Conklin, of Montville, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Monday, August 14, 2017. She was 86 years old. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005 on Thursday, August 17 from 4-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Montville Reformed Church, 9 Church Lane, Montville on Friday, August 18 at 10:00am. The interment will follow at Montville Reformed Church Cemetery. She met her husband, the late Frank Conklin, Jr., on a blind date and Audrey has lived in Montville at the family's farm for the past 69 years. Surviving are her devoted children, Frank Conklin, III, Linda (Mike) Como, Richard (Rita) Conklin and Nancy (Ed) Chando; dear sisters, Blanche and Gwendalyn; also 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Frank, she was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. The family would like to thank Gladys for the devoted care she gave to Audrey "Grandma" for the last 5 years.
