Margaret "Peggy" M. Kapral, of Boonton, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 1, 2017 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover, NJ. She was 93 years old. A lifelong resident of Boonton, NJ, she was the daughter of John and Barbara (Jencar) Stec. Peggy was one of the original members of King of Kings Lutheran Church in Mountain Lakes and was an active member of the Ladies Guild and Choir. In Boonton she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Boonton Area Cultural Arts Committee (B.A.C.A.). Surviving are her devoted son, Robert Kapral and his wife, Patricia; dear brother, Andrew Stec; loving grandson, Brian S. Kapral and his wife, Jennifer; cherished great-granddaughters, Hailey and Riley. Visitation will be on Thursday, May 4 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 5 at 11:00am in the King of Kings Lutheran Church in Mountain Lakes. The interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Boonton.
