Obituary of Brett Edward Vanderhoof

Brett Edward Vanderhoof was called home to God on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, two days after celebrating his 46th birthday.

Born in Boonton Township to Jonathan and Penelope (Perrotta) Vanderhoof, Brett loved being outdoors and having fun with off road vehicles. Motorcycles, dirt bikes, trucks, heavy equipment - he loved them all! 

Affectionately known as "Moose" - Brett had many friends and the biggest heart. His friendships were so important to him and he nourished them with phone calls and messages. Brett was always willing to lend a hand and help someone. 

Brett is survived by his beloved sons, Russell and Lucas; his parents, Jonathan and Penelope; his sister, Suzanne; his nephew, Cody; his niece, Kylee Sheffield (TJ) and her children, Colton, Caroline and Catalina.
