Please share a memory of Kathleen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Kathleen Mae Webb (nee Canatta) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. She was 89.

Kathleen was born on New Year’s Day in 1937 in New York, NY and was raised by her loving mother, Dorothy Temple. She met her husband, John, while working at International Flavors & Fragrances in Manhattan and they were married in 1969. They first lived in Hong Kong, then returned to the States after the birth of their son. After living in Hastings-on-Hudson in Westchester County, NY and with the arrival of their daughter, they settled in Mountain Lakes, NJ and lived there for almost 20 years. 1996 brought a move to Sparta and lastly they resided in the Township of Washington in Bergen County.

Kathleen loved her family and was generous with her time to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, entertaining and tennis, and was an avid reader. She was a real estate agent and owned a clothing boutique at one point. Animals were a huge part of her life, as Kathleen had three cocker spaniels that meant the world to her and she often donated to different animal charities. She was compassionate and caring to her family and her pets.

Kathleen is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Christopher John Shepherd Webb; her devoted children, Geoff (Kim) Webb and Amanda (Kevin) Healy; and her cherished grandchildren, Collin Webb and Fiona Healy.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River on Saturday, February 28th at 10:00am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a local animal shelter.
