Obituary of Casey Paul Passmore
It is with broken hearts that the parents of Casey Paul Passmore of Boonton, NJ announce his sudden, unexpected passing on Monday, August 11, 2025, in Morristown Medical Center at the age of 45.
Born in June 1980 to Charles and Beth (Brown) Passmore, Casey grew up in Hampton Township, NJ. He played Little League baseball and participated in track & field while attending Kittatinny Regional High School.
Casey loved video games and sports. He was an OG fan of soccer – tuning in during the night to watch his beloved Arsenal F.C. in Europe. He enjoyed going to the races in Middletown, NY to watch the modifieds, and he also kept up with Nascar. Casey rooted for the New Orleans Saints, the NY Yankees and the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Most important to Casey were his friends – they were his family. He was fortunate to have a big tight-knit group that were friends as long as anyone remembers. Being part of the South Boonton Field Club brought him great joy and comradery. And we can’t forget Dewey…she was Casey’s heart.
Casey was predeceased by his grandparents; his aunt, Amy Stromberg; and Dewey. He is survived by his parents; Beth Passmore of Hampton Township and Charles Passmore of Boonton; his aunts, Laura Favre, her husband Gary and cousins David and Sean; and Linda White, her husband Walter and cousins Walter III and Lisa; and his uncles, Mark Stromberg and cousins Ginny & Richie; and Abraham Passmore, his wife Pat and cousins Aimee and Darien.
