Obituary of Angelo Mowery

Please share a memory of Angelo to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Angelo Dominic Mowery left this earthly plane and went home to our Father's arms on Friday, March 10, 2017. He was six weeks from his 25th birthday, born on April 23, 1992. Angelo's life was cut short due to a terrible accident; he suffered massive injuries in a fall and died instantly. He leaves behind grief stricken loved ones. Angelo lived most of his life in Rockaway before moving to Montville in his Senior year where he graduated from Montville High School in 2010. He attended Eastwick College and the HoHoKus Schools, where he received his Electrical Apprenticeship Diploma from HoHoKus School of Trade and Technical Science. He valued his work experience at the UPS Store in Boonton and as a surveyor with Solar Home Company in Fairfield. When he passed away, he was employed by BayWatch Enterprises in Denver. For years now, Angelo was a strong advocate for clean energy and desired to make his long-term career in the solar power industry. He was passionate about what needs to be done to keep our land and sky from irreparable damage and wanted to do good to preserve these gifts of nature. For many years, Angelo shared a significant bond with Chelsey Diehl. On October 10, 2013 Angelo and Chelsey welcomed their beloved son, Gino Brian Mowery, into this world. Angelo's love for Gino lives on. On his maternal side, he is survived by his mother, Lia Mowery; his brother, Andrew Coughlan; his step-dad, Jeffrey Coughlan; his grandmother, Judy Radetich (Nanny); his grandparents, Terry and Maryann Mowery; his grandmother, Barbara Coughlan (Oma); his Uncle Richard and Aunt Mary Cutro; his Uncle Jul and Aunt Pat Single; cousins Laurel, J.J., Jonathan, Nicholas, also extended relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his Uncle Brian and by his grandpa and namesake, Angelo Radetich. On his paternal side, he is survived by his father, André Alston and Madeleine Garcia (father's fiancé); his sister, Andriana Alston; his brother, Andrew Alston; his grandma, Hattie Alston; his grandfather, Bill Alston; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Services celebrating Angelo's life will be held at the Fountain Baptist Church, 116 Glenside Avenue, Summit, NJ on Tues, March 21, 2017. Visiting is at 10am, directly followed by a service at 11am.
