Carmela "Connie" Stapert, of Rockaway NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 16th, 2015. She was 95 years old.
Born in Paterson, NJ to her parents, Louis and Florence Pinque, Carmela worked for 32 years as a Supervisor for Eastman Kodak Co. She also spent time as a volunteer at Valley hospital in Ridgewood, and Wayne General Hospital. Carmela loved reading and being a member of the choir at Saint Catherine's.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Lucille Kudelko and her husband, David; cherished granddaughter, Dana Newsom and her husband,Ross; loving siblings, William Pinque, Lena Perrone and Lucille De May. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Stapert Jr. and sisters, Evelyn Scandlon and Irma Abriola.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Codey & Mackey Funeral home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005 on Sunday December 20th, at 11:30 am, a memorial service will follow in the funeral home at 12:30 pm.
