Gray A. Burrell of Denville, NJ, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015. He was 83 years old. Gray was born in Paterson, NJ to his parents, Alexander and Harriet Burrell. He was raised in Wayne, NJ and lived in Rockaway and Boonton Townships before moving to Denville in 2013. Mr. Burrell proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Gray enjoyed working in the automobile business for 55 years. He worked for Jeff Allen Ford in Denville and Parsippany and with Joyce Honda in Denville where he retired as the General Manager in 2000. In addition to his work, Gray enjoyed fishing and golfing. He was a 27 year member of the Rockaway River Country Club in Denville where he spent quality time with family and friends. Surviving are his beloved wife of 58 years, Barbara H. (Ryder); a devoted daughter, Cathy Cornine and her husband, Dave of Kinnelon; a loving sister, Joan Larsen; cherished grandchildren, Nicholas and Kendall Cornine; dear nieces, Wende and Bonnie. Relatives and friends are invited for a memorial visitation on Sunday, November 15th from noon – 2:00 pm at the Codey & Mackey Funeral Home, 107 Essex Avenue, Boonton, NJ 07005.
